You shouldn’t even get something in D3 itself when you start a new character (Not that you have any incentive to do so with infinite respecs ala wow), let ALONE D4. It feels like a Job almost, where you feel punished for not playing, because you’re falling behind the curve- Unlike other games like D2 and POE where everyone starts equally. You now have a WOW style toon that you’re expected to have at max level and stick with, that infinitely levels up and infinitely powers up your “account” with paragon points, which are just stats and lack teh “umph” feel of how every level in D2 or POE feels like you’re further completing your build due to skill points every level. In this Diablo 4 Paragon Board guide, we will share every detail you need to know about it. The latter allows you to make your character stronger after you reach the maximum level. One of them is the much-awaited Paragon Board system. There are various types of high-level content waiting for you in Diablo 4. You are exactly as powerful the next season at start as before, every single time, because nothing carries over from previous seasons. The entire hook of ARPGs is characters being transient- you roll a new one for a season, and then the next season you roll another one, with each one starting from scratch, Stage zero. ![]() You shouldn’t EXPECT to get anything out of previous characters. ![]() Okay, here is the very core problem with D3 and the D4 paradigm.
